Introducing Teen Protection Mode for the Flux X26 Series

AOTOS is introducing Teen Protection Mode — an in-app setting for the Flux X26 series that lets riders set a maximum speed before the ride begins. Once enabled in the AOTOS app, the bike stays within the selected speed limit.

The Flux X26 was built to look bold. Teen Protection Mode adds another layer of speed control, helping new riders get familiar with braking, balance, and handling at a more manageable pace.

Activate Teen Protection Mode to set a maximum speed between 6 km/h (3.7 mph) and 15 km/h (9.3 mph). The adjustable limit gives new riders more room to get familiar with braking, balance, and handling before moving on to higher speeds.

Set the Limit That Fits Your Rider

Every rider learns at a different speed. A built-in slider lets you adjust the limit anywhere between 6 km/h (3.7 mph) and 15 km/h (9.3 mph):

• Speed Capped — the bike simply won't go faster than the limit you set, throttle input or not.
• Customizable Limit — start low, then raise the ceiling as skills and confidence grow.
• App Control — manage the setting from your phone before the ride begins.

Set Up in Under a Minute

1. Open the AOTOS app and connect to your Flux X26 or Flux X26 Pro.
2. Go to device settings and tap Teenager protection.
3. Turn it on, then drag the slider to your preferred speed limit. That's it.

Built for More Control, Not Just More Speed

Teen Protection Mode turns a general speed reminder into a clear setting you can choose before the ride. As skills and confidence improve, the speed limit can be adjusted in the app or the mode can be turned off when appropriate.

A note on safe riding: a speed setting does not replace a helmet, protective gear, supervision, or training. Always check local minimum-age, vehicle-class, and access rules before riding — a lower speed setting does not change the vehicle's legal classification.
